Various - Disco Roller Original 1980 German Import Pressing Vinyl LP (Arcade ADE G 118)

Inject an authentic dose of retro dancefloor energy into your sound system with this original 1980 West German import compilation vinyl LP, "Disco Roller." Released on the prolific Arcade Records (ADE G 118) imprint, this scarce European television-advertised collection captures the exact sonic transition from high-energy late 70s disco to the emerging early 80s electronic new wave, ska, and synth-pop movements.

Spanning an incredible 20 brand-hot original hits, this LP features high-octane essential cuts from international stars including Diana Ross' legendary anthem "Upside Down", Blondie's driving classic "Call Me", and Jermaine Jackson's "Let's Get Serious". Interspersed with heavy Euro-disco rarities from Spargo and Secret Service alongside authentic vintage ska/mod grooves from Boss, it delivers an incredible, unbroken window into continental club culture.

Hand-selected and meticulously inspected, this distinct German import pressing comes housed inside its original, highly vibrant illustration jacket featuring a brilliant roller-disco theme. A phenomenal, high-nostalgia spin for vinyl collectors archiving international pop-dance compilations and vintage European analog grooves.
